Hill Farm is a lovely tree farm with views of Branch & the
Salmon Falls Rivers. Three scenic, clearly marked trails will be
offered for horseback riding on Saturday, August 7, 2010. Field
(Fast), Hilltop (Slow), & non-Competitive Divisions will be
run. Field & Hilltop Divisions will be awarded. Depart times
will be between 9AM and 11AM. Course directions will be given to
participants. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and other luncheon fare will
be sold on site.
Don’t
forget
to bring
sunscreen, repellent, water, etc. Horseback riders may gap or
jump fences; but you must wear hard-soled shoes with heels and a
hard hat with a harness whenever you are mounted.
Directions:
From the Spaulding Turnpike, take Exit 18. Turn right at the
base of the ramp. Take the next left on Applebee Road and
continue for 1 mile to Branch Hill Farm. Parking is on the left
in the pasture just past the riding ring.

After the ride,
join Moose Mountains Regional Greenways and UNH Cooperative
Extension at the 6th annual Woods, Water and Wildllife Festival
at Branch Hill Farm. This fun, educational celebration of the
natural world features hayrides, kids crafts, nature walks and
talks, a hands-on GPS training workshop, live music, great food,
and a chance to win $1,000 at Cow Chip Bingo. Festivities will
be ongoing from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Branch Hill Farm, 307
Applebee Road in Milton Mills, NH. Admission for the day is free
for Piscataqua Hounds event participants and kids under 13; all
others just $5 per person. All proceeds benefit Moose Mountains

Release & Waiver of Liability
In exchange
for being permitted to participate in the Hunter Pace @ Branch
Hill Farm, “otherwise known as the Carl Siemon Family Charitable
Trust”, Milton Mills, NH, on August 7, 2010, for myself, my
heirs, guardians, and legal representatives, I release and agree
not to make or bring claim of any kind against Branch Hill Farm,
the Piscataqua Hounds, or its masters, officers, directors,
members, employees, or guests, or any landowners, landholders,
or other persons making property available for this fundraiser,
for any injury (including death), to me or any damage to my
property whether from anyone’s negligence or not, or any other
cause, arising out of my participation in these activities; and
I also agree that if anyone makes any claims because of any
injury to me (including death), or for any damage to my
property, I will keep all those released by this agreement free
of any damages or costs because of those claims. Horseback
riding is inherently dangerous and may incur damage to the rider
or people on the ground and I accept full responsibility for any
damages incurred, including death.
